Suspecting covid
I have a direct contact with covid+ve person 15 days back.Initially I have sore throat so I got tested both with rapid and rtpcr which showed -ve.Got recovered from sore throat.Now after 15days of contact I feel so weak and lethargic.yesterday I got rtpcr done the report is yet to come but my blood tests are very normal.can we identify covid with crp levels??I was quite tensed for the report..does a mild covid infected person atleast show slightly increased crp levels???

Hello ma'am, First of all please don't panic. CRP level is raised in any sorts of inflammation going in body. Yes it is raised in covid patient too, but only CRP level doesn't tell whether you have covid infection.  I would ask you to please wait for your RT-PCR result and till then take all precautionary measures.
Next Steps
quarantine yourself for time being. take symptomatic treatment

RtPCR may be negative in very early stages. You don't have to panic or worry about CRP levels. Yes. CRP may be increased in mild COVID patients. Kindly WhatsApp your reports for further opinion. 944x424x7216. Take adequate rest. Hydrate yourself. Stay motivated
