Depression and anxiety are co-morbid which means they go hand in hand causing distress. As you have mentioned the issues there can be presence of both in it. I would suggest more deeper assessment with inventories near psychologist/ psychiatrist. Clinical or medicinal intervention might also be needed which needs no worry.

Hello dear, The complaints mentioned by you here include low mood, reduced interest, lethargy, reduced initiative and drive, decreased sleep and appetite, weight loss and negative thoughts. All of these are suggestive of an ongoing depressive episode. However a comprehensive assessment is required to understand the factors which may have led to current symptoms. Such may include medical factors like thyroid, anemia, etc, psychological, social and neuro hormonal causes. Hence I would strongly recommend and urge you to seek a consultation with a psychiatrist near you for detailed assessment. After a comprehensive assessment a management plan can be formulated to help you. Hope this helps you. Best wishes for your health and future...
