Tablet to prevent pregnancy
Dear Doctor, Age 46, I had Intercourse today , my husband used the condom but not sure if there could be any leakage during the intercourse. My period date is 3rd of every month. Regular period. No sugar No Bp, only acidity.13 and 18 year... Normal delivery. Two children Please advise the waiting period or please advise the tablets For now time being to avoid any  unwanted pregnancy. I am not taking any tablets for any medical condition and do not want any regular contraceptive tablets course. Please advise.

You had your last period on 03 January. You had intercourse on 18 January (today). That is a fertile window as far as pregnancy is concerned. Considering your age the chances of pregnancy are very low. But if you don't want to take any chances you may take Emergency contraception. For further information please consult with a Gynaecologist

Prevention is before the act not after As of now you will have to wait till 3rd of February To prevent such an occurrence from happening again you can go for a multiload insertion after your next periods
