TB / Sarcoidosis
My son ( age 7) had a Dengue fever for 8 days and he was cured and discharged. After 10 days suddenly he complained about body pain and unable to even walk. He had several spikes of fever ranging from 99.6° to 101.9°. His CRP was at 7 rose to 12 and then came down. During investigation CT Scan revealed lymph nodes of 1.5 cm to 2cm in lungs and granulomas of 0.5 mm in lever. My doctor's wants an biopsy of the lymph nodes for further treatment. Kindly advise

He may require EBUS TBNA because nodes of size 1.5 cm are not each to access via conventional bronchoscopy but obviously decision will require more details Regards Dr Karn Mehra
