I want to go undergo Whitening Treatment. I need results in 7 to 8 days max. I am confused if I should go for Zoom Teeth Whitening or Home Trays. The problem with Zoom Teeth Whitening is that I may get sensitivity and Pain or Gums problem or any other future problem. I am also not sure if I can sit through 1 hour treatment peacefully. Home Trays is relatively safe and risk free as per my knowledge but it gives results only after 12-14 days.
I have sometimes bleeding problems in my gums. I don't smoke or take tobacco or take dark color drinks like cofee or tea.
My current shade is D1 or D2 and I want A1-A2.
Pls suggest. I am 32 and male.

Hello sir,
Before whitening a scaling is recommended and home whitening can be done and the effect is seen after 2 to 3 days and repeatedly whitening is not advice able because it may cause sensitivity . So whitening done under the supervision of dentist is adviced it may immediately brigthen 2 shades post procedure sensitivity can be avoided and post operative instructions have to be followed for better results .
Generally before bleaching a cleaning is a must .In your case bleeding from the gums should be mild so that the bleaching is maximum effective.
Office bleach or home bleach both will be effective with in a week's time.
There are several options for office bleach too.
Home trays take 3-4 days to show results There are different options in Home trays- 3-4 hour usage per day or overnight usage etc. if you want trays you must do it immediately as trays take 1 day to be fabricated in the lab
