Drink plenty of water, eat soft foods like cooked cereal, mashed potatoes, soft fruits, yogurt and soft-cooked eggs...give adequate rest to your body..Avoid spicy foods or acidic foods. Gargle with warm salt water. gargling several times a day can help relieve throat pain....you will require antibiotics to clear up infection..

Hello there. I can understand your concern. All your symptoms are consistent with viral upper respiratory tract infection. This is usually self limiting and often requires no or very minimal treatment. You can take a tablet paracetamol 650mg thrice a day. Drink lots of water and make it a point to drink warm water. You can take steam inhalations. If the issue still persists, kindly consult a general physician in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain.
