THROAT PAIN AFTER UPPER GI ENDOSCOPY
I went for Upper GI Endoscopy 3 days back and after the endoscopy I didn't feel anything for next 2 hrs as my throat was numb but after that I started to have throat pain and when I swallow anything the pain increases. Even when I swallow water it hurts. I told the doctor who did my endoscopy that you have grazed my throat while performing an upper GI endoscopy but he said that the pain will subside within few days as in some cases endoscope does graze the back of the throat. Endoscopy report attached.
