Throat pain and ear pain in one side
Hi doctor, I have throat pain in right side  for past 5 days and today it reduced and having ear pain in right side from yestday night . I am doing salt water gargling from yestday night. Could you please suggest the reson for the cause and home made remedies and is it critical to go to doctor immediately

It appears to be an upper respiratory tract infection affecting your throat ( sometimes the throat pain can be perceived in ear as there is same nerve supply ) and/or your ear as well due to congestion in the nose. A more detailed history can help providing medications for relief

From the symptoms you have mentioned it looks like you could have an upper respiratory tract infection leading to a probable ear infection. Continue doing the salt water gargling. Do steam inhalation twice daily. If symptoms persist despite this please take an online ENT consultation
