Hi, Irritation in throat can be due to infection, reflux, allergies etc. Finding out the exact cause will help us in treatment. Erythromycin in the dose of 250 mg is quite inadequate for adults. It's a pediatric dose. So I will suggest that you can do salt water gargles, avoid spicy food, maintain good hydration as home remedy. However if your problem persists you can consult online for proper diagnosis and treatment. Thanks
