Thyroid during pregnancy
Hi...i got hypothyroid during pregnancy.am under 12.5mg dosage till my 8th month because of tsh level 2.4..and it as increased to 25mg in 9th month because of tsh level 3.7.now i am currently near to my due date.can thyroid can be cured permanently after delivery because i got thyroid problem only during pregnancy

Hello.......the treatment of hypothyroidism in pregnant women is similar to that in nonpregnant women..mild variation of TSH wil be there during pregnancy which restores to normal after delivery. If TSH level is persistently high you have to take medications for life long..
