Thyroid level
Am 9 weeks pregnant and in my blood test anti thyroglobulin test was done and the range mentioned was 3.6ng/ml which was in the range mentioned in their report. But doc advised me to take medicine thyronorm 50mcg... May i know whether I have thyroid problem or if I take this tablet regularly ll it have any impact.

Antithyroglobulin is not normally found in the blood stream. However, 10-20% of healthy individuals have detectable anti thyroglobulin levels. Anti thyroglobulin is not normally found in the blood stream. However, 10-20% of healthy individuals have detectable anti thyroglobulin levels. This test has the possibility of having wrong estimations due to false low value.
Next Steps
Go for a test of Thyroid profile along with thyroglobulin level. Consult your doctor preferably an endocrinologist.
