Thyroid medicine leads to bad breath?
I'm taking thyroid medicine frm 20 years Is it a reason for bad breath I have tried many solutions but nothg worked for me Really embarrassing for me

Do you have dry mouth, improper salivary secretion in mouth. Prolonged use of the drug may cause that which interferes with self cleaning mechanism of saliva >> food lodgement/carious teeth >> bad breath. Take sip of water every half an hour. can be asymptomatic carious tooth with food lodgement causing Bad breath Use Dental floss clean tongue  thoroughly soft bristled brushing twice daily, after food. If not, Do you have acidity and prolonged interval period i.e. unable to take food in short intervals..? If so, correct it and take antacid. Luke warm water salt gargle twice daily. Attach  intraoral clinical picture

Betadine gargle, 2 ml directly in mouth, hold in mouth for 2-3 mins. and spit out. don't rinse/eat/drink for next half an hour. do once in every two days continuously.
