You may want to heal yourself before conceiving so that you can pass on a healthy thyroid to your baby also.
Next Steps
Thyroid pill can only mask the TSH for sometime but doesn't do anything to heal the root cause of the problem which is not in your thyroid BTW. Thyroid disease is completely reversible in my experience. I have reversed not only my own thyroid disease but have helped hundreds of women heal their hormone Imbalances and achieve healty natural pregnancies. It's frustrating to see that so many women are suffering and not getting the right information. It can be reversed not by masking the symptoms with drugs but by addressing the root cause of the problem. Needs root cause evaluation with further investigations...Can be healed with diet changes, lifestyle changes, self care and Detoxification.Hope this helps.

Suffering from a thyroid issue with a TSH of 27 and can you conceive the answer would be maybe but if the question is should you conceive then the answer is NO. Thyroid level of 27 categorises of you being hypothyroid but only this test is not enough as you need to also get done free T3 and Free T4 levels along with thyroid antibodies . You need to be completely eurthyoid before getting pregnant as thyroid issues in pregnancy can also affect brain development of the baby. So you need to consult an endocrinologist and start of with a thyronom or eltroxin tablets.your TSH should be around 2.5 during pregnancy to be in a euthyroid state. Sometimes the god is great as you may have difficulties in conceiving even on this TSH value so first get your thyroid levels under control and then you can plan for your conception.
Next Steps
Consult your nearest endocrinologist start off with the medicines and serially monitor your thyroid levels. Once your endocrinologist gives a thumps up you can go ahead with planning your conception
