TIA and a PFO in heart discovered
F(48y/o) suffered a TIA..ever since have been experiencing twitching and sometimes numbness in hands and legs and a cold feeling. Got TEE done, found a PFO in heart. The interventional radiologist said it is too small to be repaired. If he trie he might not be able to fix it.Can it be life threatening? Is it something worrisome? What should be done? Please advise. Currently taking aspirin.
