Tinnitus has got various reasons one such reason is hearing loss. Usually if one has hearing loss then the external sounds become less audible and the internal bodily sounds becomes more audible and some times perceived as tinnitus. One complains of tinnitus it is usually recommended to have their ears tested and try Tinnitus Retraining Therapy this will suggest if the tinnitus could be suppressed. However Proper diagnosis should be made regarding the exact cause of tinnitus to provide better treatment options. Hope this helps Regards Vijay Kumar
