If you have constant symptom of getting expectoration (the discharge a person gets due to cough and cold) through throat into mouth,  which usually comes in contact with tip of tongue. Due to this constant irritational exposure of tongue tip, the swelling may appear. If this description matches in your case, do take vitamin C. Attach a picture.

Such lesion on tongue can be due to multiple causes, so i suggest you to not panic and consider it a symptom of cancer. Get a consultation done. Do not traumatize the lesion by checking at regular intervals.
