Can western toilet seat shape cause hemorrhoids and fissure? I never had a history of hemorrhoids or fissure. I recently shifted to a new houser. Ever since i have been using the toilet in this house, i am facing hemorrhoids and 1 episode of fissure. I do not have constipation, i do not spend too much time on the toilet, i do not strain, yet i got a new external hemorrhoid today. Please advise if this is due to the toilet seat shape?

It is not a question of shape of the toilet. But there is an association between haemorrhoids and the use of Western type toilet seat.
