Hello dr , is it necessary to give vitamin d3 drops and zincovit to a 6 month old baby .

Hi Mam...most of the babies are deficient in vitamin D3 most of the mothers are deficient in it and also other vitamins esp in India...so it is wise to give vitamin D3 drops upto 6.months of age . After that only Zincovit drops 0.5 ml once a day till 1 yr of age are sufficient...
