Too much bloodyin in period after sex

We are recently married in last month, we done sex for first time in ovulation times. That time we doesn't faced any issues .. but now my wife got periods .. in this time of periods she lost lots of blood than her previous periods and feeling tired and body pain .then she is having high on fever and body pain .. kindly help us why this high blooding , fever and body pain happened?
