I'm in my 14th weeks of pregnancy now and one of my teeth is very painful and cannot sleep anytime of the day. I don't see any decay in the tooth but because of the sleep I'm not able to get sleep. I tried keeping clove but it's not that effective. Can I apply a drop of clove oil to the tooth?

I assume you are in your second trimester. Most dental treatments are safe in 2nd trimester .
You maybe having decay in between two teeth which is causing severe pain.
One sitting of a root canal can be done and the rest treatment after delivery.
But most of all an opinion is essential from your gynaecologist for the prescription of medicines or there is no risk.
Next Steps
visit your nearest dental clinic or hospital.take an opinion and consent from your gynaecologist.

These things are mostly common during pregnancy and doing any extensive procedure should be avoided , do natural remedies and maintain the oral hygiene, if it’s too complex then visit a dentist ,
You need to get the problem diagnosed first. Since you are in your second trimester right now, undergoing dental treatment is safe. If it is a decayed tooth, you can get RCT done to fix it, or get it extracted (depending on the severity of the problem). Consult your nearest dental surgeon at the earliest.
Have check up first to dignose the reason of pain..cleaning or one sitting of rct will b decided after check up...rest rct sitting aftr delivery can b done..
Hi mam, don't apply such stuffs . Visit a dentist, clinically they can identify the decay. Please do regular mouth wash .If it is due to plaque( dirt) you need cleaning. You are in second trimester, dental treatments are safe except for x rays.
