Tooth Fracture inside the right cheek
Hi Doctor , I am Wasim from Dubai, recently diagnosed with fractured tooth, the 2nd molar ( tooth on the upper right cheek ) Just wanted to know how many days it will take to get the issue solved as I want to visit Delhi only to fix my tooth and come back. Currently I am taking ibrufen and have a little pain. But I am not able to eat anything from the right side. and whenever try to crush something the pain hits my skull. and the whole right part.

If the tooth requires extraction, it can be done in a single appointment. But if RCT or post & core has to be done, it will take more time. (I would say around 2 weeks). Without clinically examining the tooth, we can't say which will be the best treatment modality.

The tooth needs to be treated with a root canal and post n core to save the tooth But if the tooth is fractured beyond repair then might need extraction The whole process can take a week's time. And a cap also will be needed on the tooth

That actually depends whether the tooth needs to be extracted or not until we see it clinically.. meanwhile you take course of antibiotics and painkiller and avoid eating from that side
