I have been suffering from severe tooth pain since last few days. I got my root canal done recently. Any idea what might be the reason?

Hi. The reason for your pain post root canal treatment can be many. Sometimes it's normal to have a bit of pain n discomfort few days post Rct.... N resolves on its own but you have to be very prompt with the medication prescribed. Secondly, there can also be high point on the treated tooth which would cause pain while biting. That can be corrected by the dentist immediately by trimming off the high point. Third reason can be persistence of pus or remnant of infected pulp tissue inside the tooth due to improper root canal treatment.. That can be clarified with the help of x ray.
