Traumatic brain injury
My son is 6 years old and is in 1st standard now, very normal kid. Had a normal forceps delivery. Recently we did am MRI as adviced by our doctor since he has balance issues. And the MRI findings are as below: 1. Gliotic changes in the right basil temporal lobe 2. Features of mild left cerebral periventricular leukoencephalopathy. What does it mean? Kindly explain.

This usually indicates previous brain damage,either traumatic or during birth. If not accompanied by any other symptoms,nothing to be done. Balance issues are more commonly due to inner ear problems,did you rule them out. If not,plz consult your ENT surgeon first.
