Treatment duration of psychosis
I have diagnosed psychosis. I'm under treatment since December 2017. Now I am in well condition. How long the treatment will run.

In acute transient psychosis, medication can be tapered off after 2 years. In some episodic cases of schizophrenia, stopping medication can be considered after 5 years of recovery. However, in some chronic cases with recurrent and persistent symptoms, medication might need to be continued for an indefinite period.
