Trigger thumb
Any treatment other than surgery for trigger thumb My son is 8 months and don't want to go with surgery as read somewhere this can be treated without surgery before 1 year

You may try non surgical treatment for sometime.if no success,get surgery done. otherwise it will lead to smallness of the thumb.

Yes nearly more than 80 percent do not need surgery . Try to apply some moisturizer and straighten the thumb within pain limits every hour 5 to 10 mnts when the baby is awake.. or meet a physiotherapist to know how exactly to hold the thumb and do physiotherapy or Google it. Normally these resolve by 2 to 3 years . If it does not resolve even after 3 years you can get surgical release done. Please do not undergo surgery before 2 to 3 years
