Hello, I am having irregular periods. My cycle is of 40 days. Trying to conceive since last month but my periods came. With abnormal cycle of 40 days how will I know when ovulation happens? Is there possibility that I am getting periods without ovulation? Earlier I was diagnosed with pcod. How to try for baby?

If cycles are repeatedly of 40 days, then it is expected that the ovulation is around 26th day I.e. 14 days before periods One can plan accordingly Else you can try mucus thickness approach to check for ovulation days Temperature chart is also helpful
