Typhoid fever since 23 days
Typhoid report said'o'titer is 1/160,while for other strains it was all negative.dr gave cefixime, twice daily for 10days alongwith paracetamol. The fever went off for a week, and now it's again! The widal report this time says 'o' 1/160, 'h' 1/60,rest negative. The dr says it is a false positive, if it's so why am I getting fever again, please suggest.Other dr says its viral fever! But this time I am totally drenched due to fever, feel so lethargic. Also I am having sore throat alongwith fever. Kindly help.

Hello, the fever might be also due to the throat infection. You could consult a Homoeopathy doctor for the fever & the symptoms of dehydration. & to improve your immunity.

Hello, Widal test remains false positive even after the treatment till 1 to 2 month, widal test is not a much important test for the diagnosis, if you want to get  confirmation you can go for blood culture for typhoid, You can prefer homoeopathy, there are medicines which makes your body to form antibodies against typhoid, because if typhoid persists for long time and you suffers from typhoid again and again then it can be very harmful..
