Hi Dr.. I hv pain in my umbilical region since 6 months. The pricking pain increase when I cough.. I done a scan it shows that I hv umbilical hernia.. So I m worried... Plz suggest some treatment for this... Medicine are there or surgery s required.. Plz guide me right...

Send your sonography report and picture of umblical hernia when you cough. You may require operation or you can defer operation depening upon symptoms and size.
