If you have unprotected sex more than a week before your periods are due then you must have an emergency contraceptive.
If you have sex very frequently (more than once a month) then it is better to go for regular Contraceptive like Oral Contraceptive pills. Or else you may consider Multiload or Copper T.

Emergency pill should be used ONLY in case of emergency.. There's not specific number on how many times you can use it... There are other safer contraception options available..
