My upper left molar tooth underwent root canal treatment 2 years ago. and since then the crown has come off several times. IS it advisable to get re-crowning done ? If so what would be the cost of new ceramic crown?

The right way to proceed after root canal treatment is the placement of the crown. There can be various reasons for the displacement of the crown but since you have mentioned it has come off several time going for a new crown would be advisable. The cost of an all ceramic crown varies depending on certain factors and the range can be discussed when you visit the clinic.
Hello
There frequent dislodgment of crown can be due to less retention so u should go for a new crown and crown lengthening is an additional procedure which the dentist might do along with it.crown is mandatory after rct to avoid reinfection and breakage of the tooth.

The most important thing is that first u need to get the root canal treated tooth structure checked if there is any crack . If it is perfectly fine then u can go for a new crown . These days it is better to go for a zirconia crown or a full ceramic crown and to avoid metal ceramic crowns . The reason is because most of us when we are in need of takinng MRI scan the metal ceramic crown has to be removed for safety purposes. But if u feel the budget is too high u can go for a metal ceramic crown . The charges for metal ceramic might be approx 3000INR to around 6000INR .
thank you
