Usage of metformin
Is metformin safe for non diabetic patient, taking for weight loss.
It has been prescribed by a senior most doctor, but we r bit confused if it harmed in future.

Hi, with this there is no harm. You can continue with it. It helps in reducing weight as described by other doc. But after 3 months u have to stop it as it doesn't help.

Hello not a problem you can go ahead with metformin it also reduces insulin resistance and increases the metabolism and you can lose weight consult physician for further evaluation.
