Use of blood thinner
My ECGs, Echo and TMT showed normal results and I was advised that CAG not required as most probably no blockages would show up. Still I was prescribed to take Ecosporin AV 150/10 along with my BP medication i.e. Dilzem CD 120 by a leading Cardiologist in another city. My BP usually remains normal and has hardly gone above 140 (mostly remains like 117 to 124 and diastolic 77 to 80) as I don't skip my bp medicine. Another DM Cardiology in city where I live currently, I consulted said we usually don't prescribe blood thinners unless a heart attack risk. Should I take the blood thinner? Is it ok to take blood thinners long term? I am confused whose advise to follow as both are DM Cardiology.
