Is Prevnar vaccination must for babies. My son is 4 months old and has got vaccinated twice in 2 months (Prevnar 7 once and Prevnar 13 once), this time we consulted another doctor however this doctor said it is not necessary now because my son is not under weight. He is healthy 8kg at 4 month old

Yes, Prevenar is a recommended vaccination for all children, I do not agree with the assessment that Prevenar should be used only for underweight kids, this is a vaccination that prevents pneumonia infection and even meningitis, many states in India and many countries across the world are using it in their National immunization programme, please complete the series of Prevenar vaccination
