And told me strict bed rest.
I am very worried about my child, is he or she safe?

Hi! Bleeding in pregnancy is definitely not normal. However you are being treated appropriately, so let us hope that bleeding will stop soon.minimal spotting does not affect the baby but follow instructions and be cautious till bleeding completely stops
