Vaginisum disorder
She mentioned that she can't have sex due to pain during the vaginal penetration. She can't even use tampons because of the same reason. I have heard about this disorder and read online as well. She is scared to have sex now, as after trying multiple times there is no success to painless sex. Also she can't let a gynecologist examine her during a recent visit.

Without examination how doctor will know what is the problem.This is the case of vaginismus if pain is not tolerable then small surgery she needs under anaesthesia.
