Vertigo, Sudden Hearing loss
Hi Sir/Mam
I had viral for a week, suddenly my ear wax popped up and later on i felt dizziness, hearing loss,Vertigo.
I checked with dr, he admitted me gave me some antibiotic and vertin 16 mg, but the problem is still the same..could you please tell me that is that ear infection or something else ?

Sudden hearing loss with giddiness needs to evaluated and treated on urgent basis as delay in treatment can lead to permanent hearing loss. You need to undergo audiological evaluation such as PURE TONE AUDIOGRAM, if hearing loss is confirmed then you need to be started on a course of steroids for week or more. If everything fails then you may need to undergo intra tympanic steroid injection procedure
