What may be the probable cause of such high BP, what is its remedy?
She has been taking amlopres 5 mg for BP for last 25 yrs

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
We would like to know, how is her Blood Pressure after the new medications have been started?
You do not need to worry. The old medications were not enough to control the bp so the medicines need to be changed.
Kindly consult a general physician in person for further evaluation and management.
Best regards.
