Your child has a infection of the tummy that's most likely viral. The main aim is to prevent dehydration. The stomach infection usually lasts 3 to 5 days and will not require antibiotics. The most important way to reduce the frequency of loose stools is to give your child ORS. Give it frequently in sips. Also start Syp Zinconia- 5ml once daily for 2 weeks. Enterogermina 1 respule twice daily can also be given for 5 days.
Next Steps
Continue child's regular food and include banana and fluids.

Hydration is the most important thing in cases with vomitting and diarrhoea. Ensure oral intake and if there no signs of dehydration then nothing to worry.

The diagnosis is acute gastro-enteritis. You are giving the correct medicine for vomiting. You can treat the loose motion with a combination of probiotics and zinc. Even if the symptoms persist after this, then you may have to start antibiotics. Make sure that your child is having enough liquids. You have to also start ORS.
Next Steps
Visit your paediatrician, first and formost to check whether there are any signs of dehydration. Also to get the correct dose of the above medications as per his weight.
Health Tips
1) Keep a watch on the urine output..2) Give him plenty of liquids and ORS... Take care.
