I consulted an ayurvedic dr for my Bartholin cyst and recommended these two medicines - Baidyanath Vridhiwadhika Bati and Kanchnar Guggulu.
On reading about the ingredients I found out it contains Shudh Parad, Shudh Gandhak. On further research I found Parad is Mercury and I'm scared. Are these harmful?

By this medicine lil bit size of cyst reduces for some time but this not permanent treatment for this. Only surgery ( marsupilization) can cure this.

These parada and gandhaka are not used as raw
It is undergone several purificatory processes hence called shudh parada and gandhaka

The Mercury,sulphur used would be purified and the heavymeatals will be in the range given by WHO limits.So they r safe to consume.
U have to consume as prescribed by ur doctor.
Hello Ma'am don't worry, purified mercury is used in Ayurveda as RAS MEDICINE i e has antibiotic as well as tonic effects,Yet U can take only Kanchanar guggul 2 tabs tid for safety
