Should I remove contact lenses before an eye exam? When do I need to remove it? How many hours before do I need to remove it?

After wearing contact lenses there is a thin tear film between cornea and lens which is responsible for correction of refractory error. It takes some time then to resolve after putting off the lens. So getting refraction just after putting off the lens may be misleading. For a good refraction please put off lenses at least few hrs to a day.
