Wearing mask
Hi Doctor Readymade masks are not available for 1 year olds so should I make a home made mask for my 15 month old daughter? I tried resizing a readymade mask to fit her size but she pulls it off immediately and I end up taking her out without a mask. We are completely staying at home but for her vaccine appointments we have no other choice. How do I solve this issue? I feel worried taking her out without a mask.

Hello. I understand your worries, but mask alone doesn’t ward off viruses. Please make sure that social distancing is maintained and keep a sanitizer handy. Blanket/sheet would be more affective. Please schedule appointments in advance.

Children younger than age 2 need not wear masks. While walking outdoors, as long as children can maintain social distancing of more than 6 feet and do not touch tables, playground equipment or other things that infected people might have touched, then they will not acquire the infection and would not need masks.
Next Steps
If you must go outside or to a place where you are not able to practice social distancing with an infant, cover the infant carrier with a blanket, which helps protect the baby, but still gives them the ability to breathe comfortably.

Do not put mask to such small kid , it can cause suffocation to her that's why she removes it.. Take proper appointment for vaccination , wait in car till your turn comes and take out her only for vaccination .. And possible while going cover her under your dupatta like things so that she can be protected and will not have suffocation too
