Weight loss
Hello Doctor, My wife has started breastfeeding since 27th Apr 2020. We are blessed with a beautiful daughter. Since then my wife has started loosing a lot of weight. Is this due to breastfeed, loss of sleep, tiredness, fatigue etc.. Please suggest a routein for my wife as our daughter sleeps well in the day time but keeps us awake from 1am untill next morning 10am. My wife has no other health issues including BP, Sugar, etc.. She still has pain near her c section. but managing.  Do suggest what she should eat. how should she manage sleep.

Congratulations. She should take good healthy diet with lots of fluids and milk. Give high proteins to her. Nuts etc. she should get up with the baby and sleep with the baby. She can express and keep the meal when she is resting so that you or any other hell can feed the baby. Hv iron and calcium for 3 months.
