What does a breast cancer lump feel like to touch

Asked for Female, 47 Years

I am a 47 year old woman and I have recently developed a lump on my right breast. Like everyone, my first assumption was that it is cancer. I would like to know how a breast cancer lump feels like to touch. If I can make out the basic diagnosis at home, I’ll be a little ready to face the doctors.
