I am a 22 year old female and I was looking pale and unhealthy for the past 3 months. My unlikely tiredness and fatigue made me go to the doctor for medical advice and I was told that I was anemic. I have been taking iron supplements and things are getting a little better. But, I want to know if there is any treatment for iron deficiency anemia at home. I don't want to stay on supplements for the rest of my life. Can someone help with any advise? Thanks!

Once corrected u do not have to take supplements then.It takes an average 2-3 months.Later on you can maintain the levels by consuming iron rich foods.
