Yes you can take multivitamins and protein supplements. But I would suggest instead using commercial whey protein, take protein supplements by Pharmaceutical companies which will have a balanced composition of protein, vitamins as well as minerals which will be a balanced supplement. Example like Ensure, Protinex.
