My son who is 7 years 8 months old is recently complaining about a white lump on his gum...sometimes it looks big and sometimes it becomes small. Please suggest

Check it's relationship with food.
Before and after eating specifically during spicy foods.
If it increases after having food it is mucoceal and may need to be removed by oral surgeon but if it does not hamper normal life leave it, it some times regress of its own
