Why does my hands numb while sleeping
I, male,13, have a very bad habit of sleeping on my hands. My mother have always scolded me for this saying I am still in teenage and bones are not being completely formed yet. But why does hands get numb after I wake up after night sleep of 7-8 hrs?

Your hand gets numb after lying down due to the compression over the hand by your weight applied over it by your head which will compress the vessels and the nerves that lead to reduced blood flow and nerve irritation which causes the tingling sensation over the hands.
