Wisdom tooth
My gums around the wisdom tooth are swollen and the swelling is spreading to the tongue. Should I consult my dentist immediately? Because I didn't get an appointment until Monday.

Swelling depends on the severity of impacted, that means how bad your teeth is infected or impinge in the surrounding bone and tissue. If you have moderate to severe pain plz consult your dentist. If the pain is bearable, then u can take an antibiotic and analgesics till Monday.
Next Steps
the doctor will suggest you treatment depending on the x-ray and diagnosis
Health Tips

Hello sir, A wisdom tooth is one which fails to erupt at the given time and space. Wisdom tooth causes pain and soreness of the jaw, difficulty in opening the mouth, dental caries, may push the neighbouring teeth causing crowding may develop into swelling , may cause inflammation around the wisdom tooth ,may develop into a cyst. Treatment will be extraction and followed by antibiotic and painkiller dose. And you can consult your dentist by Monday that will be fine and after that get treatment done.
