Hi. The procedure for wisdom tooth removal is a single sitting procedure, done under anesthesia. It is not painful. After the procedure the patient is given instructions about what precautions to follow. These precautions are to be followed for 2 days. The procedure is usually not that big, and you can go to work from the next day. If the precautions are followed properly, then the pain after procedure is very minimal

There is no need to take leave after wisdom tooth removal. If at all plan your Surgery on Friday so you get weekend off. Post extraction pain &swelling are very well taken care of by proper medications. All the best.
