There is no relation between your intelligence and wisdom tooth. If it is causing you pain then go for extraction.
Next Steps
Visit a local dentist and get it clinically evaluated.

It’s funny to read your concern! Your intelligence and wisdom is not linked to your teeth. These teeth are called wisdom teeth just because they erupt at around 16 to 18 years or even more of age when a person is said to be wise enough to know what is wrong and what isn’t. That’s all! It’s just like someone advising you to take a chill pill but you would just not find it anywhere!

You should get it checked as soon as possible. Get a full mouth x ray done for proper evaluation. Wisdom is not related to wisdom tooth, its called wisdom tooth because it erupts at an age when a person actually knows the meaning of “wisdom”( when his/her IQ develops), hence its called wisdom tooth.
Next Steps
Visit a dental clinic for inspection.
Health Tips
Do lukewarm saline rinsing if its causing you gum issues.
